Association of Campsites of Latvia is a society consisting of active and friendly camping and caravan-site owners of Latvia. It is a member of European Federation of Camping site Organizations and Holiday Park associations (EFCO & HPA). The main objective of the Association of Campsites of Latvia is to bring together camping site owners of common professional interests and to join effort to promote development of entire camping- and rural tourism sector of Latvia.

 

In close collaboration with lithuanian and estonian colleagues „The Camping map of Baltics” is issued annually and distributed to potential visitors.
 
Some of the major objectives of the association are:

 

•    Initiation, actualization and management of the process of creating new and up-to-date camping quality certification system in Latvia.
•    Training, consulting and support of camping owners and personnel.
•    Participating in international travel fairs, exhibitions and organizations to represent campings of Latvia (and Baltic states in some cases).
•    Maintain the webpage www.camping.lv as the central and most reliable source of information about campings for travelers, publicists etc.
•    Development of quality maps, guides, brochures and other materials for potential guests of campsites and rural accommodations in Latvia and Baltic states. Distribution of theese materials (international travel fairs, exhibitions, tourist information offices, campsites etc.).
